The Kirtan Wallahs lead call-and-response kirtan almost every Sunday evening at 7pm, at Plaza Kailasa, Suite K, ("'K' for Kirtan") in West Sedona. (map)

Kirtan is a powerful, transformational spiritual practice that is a central component of bhakti yoga, the yoga of devotion. Bhakti yoga is considered the easiest path to moksha, or liberation, in this age. Kirtan opens the heart, purifies the entire being and surrounding atmosphere and stills the mind for meditation. It’s an easy, fun and fulfilling path to transformation. (more about kirtan)

On the Resources page is a video from a New Year's Eve program a few years back. On this page you'll also find some of the downloadable MP3 files of the audio samples in the player above. The rest are on the More Audio page.

Also on these pages, along with the downloadable MP3 files, you will also find downloadable PDF files of the music for these chants, notated in Western music notation, complete with lyrics and suggested chords (including guitar chords with capo as appropriate).
